The primary purpose of the rating system is to enable consumers to make informed choices about the places where they eat out or shop for food.

Customers can view the rating of your food business by checking the sticker in the window, the certificate on display inside the premises or by going online at food.gov.uk/ratings or even by using the smartphone app.

This means that you need a rating of 5 to keep the customers from choosing someone else over you!

It is now a legal requirement to publically display your rating in Wales and it’s highly likely that England will have to do the same in the near future.
